What specific hiring challenges were STH facing?

STH were looking to make three immediate hires for their London office with more roles to follow. They wanted a partner who could provide a more holistic service to deliver their end-to-end hiring process, and to both support their internal hiring managers and the head of HR, while providing a best-in-class experience for all candidates.

STH highlighted the need to find a diverse range of sports focussed candidates for their active roles, as well as to communicate their employer brand and EVP to both active and passive candidates in the market. STH also wanted Global Sports to reflect its ED&I and inclusivity focus when promoting its employer brand.


The Global Sports Embedded Hiring Solution

The Global Sports Hiring 360° solution provides full-time embedded hiring support to the in-house HR team at STH through a full-time Talent Partner, who seamlessly provided end-to-end hiring management and direct sourcing for all immediate hires. As well as, significantly reducing the amount of operational recruitment activity for Hiring Managers and the HR team, delivering an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants that represent the mission, values and culture of STH, was critical.

Through the 360° solution provided, we were able to improve the quality and diversity of applications via direct search, proactive talent pooling, and access to our exclusive database of 200k+ candidates by promoting all vacancies on the Global Sports Jobs platform. Also, we broadened the reach of STH’s employer brand through multiple advertising channels and social media.

The Results So Far

Within four months Global Sports Hiring 360° has already delivered 4 successful hires for STH so far.

This work has delivered a 50% Female to Male hiring ratio - 19% above the sports industry average, with a 30 working days average time to hire - 5 days quicker than the average.

To date, this solution has not only delivered new hires against STH's diversity objectives but critically, saved the business over £ 23,000 compared to equivalent agency costs.
